#SCFlood Information

October 6, 2015

Friend,

The sun is shining for the first time in days and although we are still on alert in Columbia, we can feel hope rising.

Our state has faced a lot of adversity this year but South Carolinians are resilient. The challenges we face over the coming months are significant but we will persevere together and we will bounce back stronger than ever.

Many South Carolinians are still in dire need; so many families have lost so much. If you are in a position to do so, please consider donating to the American Red Cross of Central South Carolina. The Red Cross is working around the clock to help families affected by the flood.

I ask that you continue to keep our first responders and fellow South Carolinians in your thoughts over the coming weeks. Please join me in praying for all those families affected by this devastating flood.

As always, please do not hesitate to call on me should you ever need anything.

Sincerely,

Rep. James Smith
